Business Travel Requirements for a Cambodia Visa for Australian Citizens

  1. Mandatory Digital Arrival Card Requirement

    All travellers to Cambodia are required to apply for a mandatory E-Arrival Card within 7 days before arrival. The E-Arrival card can be applied for here free of charge.

    Please note that: 
    • The E-Arrival card applies only to air border crossings (airports). Tourists entering Cambodia through river border crossings must fill out the usual paper form on arrival.
    • The E-Arrival card is not an electronic visa, it is simply an electronic form replacing the paper form that travellers had to fill out at the airport upon arrival.
    • All travellers, even those with an issued electronic visa, must complete the E-Arrival card

  2. Visa Validity

    Visa is valid from the date of issue. Entry must be made within the validity date specified on the visa, and the date of exit can be after the expiry date of the visa.

    The validity of the issued visa is at the discretion of the Embassy/Consulate and may vary to that advertised.

    Please note: Entry must occur the day before the expiry date indicated on the visa e.g. if expiry date is 31/12/15, must enter by 30/12/15.

  3. Duration of Stay

    The maximum duration of stay is one month.

    Visa may be extended at the Immigration Department, Phnom Penh, Cambodia. However, it is at the discretion of Immigration Officials as to whether an extension will be granted.

    The duration of stay issued on the visa is at the discretion of the Embassy/Consulate and may vary to that advertised.

  4. Passport

    The applicant's actual passport. The passport must:
    • Be valid for six months beyond exit date
    • Have two blank facing visa pages
  5. Photograph(s)

    Alternatively, you may provide one colour, passport-type photograph that meets the following strict criteria: be taken within the last three months against an all-white background and printed on high-quality photo paper; be 45mm (h) by 35mm (w); provide the full frontal view of your head with your face centered in the middle and displaying a neutral (non-smiling) expression. You may wear neither eyeglasses nor headwear except for religious purposes. Your photo should be glued to the designated section of the visa application form (in the absence of a designated area, affix to the top right or top left corner).

  6. Business Introduction Letter

    You are required to provide a Business Introduction Letter from your Australian-based company. Be certain your letter meets the specific requirements of the consulate by using our Digital Introduction Cover Letter. Visit https://visasdirect.com.au/bcl-order to get started.

  7. Letter of Invitation

    A letter of invitation from the applicant's host. A copy is acceptable. This letter must:

    • Be on company letter head showing the full address and contact details of the host
    • Specify the purpose and duration of stay
    • Be dated and signed by the applicant's host
  8. Visa Application Form

    One fully completed and signed application form with an original signature (do not print double sided).

  9. Proof of Medical Insurance

    Travellers must present proof of health insurance showing a minimum medical coverage of USD 50,000 and stating the coverage of COVID-19.

  10. Vaccination Certificate

    A copy of a vaccination certificate. This certificate must:

    • State the name of the applicant
    • Include the date of vaccination
    • State the type of COVID-19 vaccine administered
  11. Validation Certificate on Payment Guarantee

    You must provide a validation certificate from the sponsor in Cambodia. The certificate must indicate that the travellers is sponsored by a Chief Executive Officer or a major shareholder of a company currently operating and located in Cambodia. The sponsor must request for an online sponsorship at Business Registration through any of the following  websites (www.registrationservices.gov.kh), (www.cdc.gov.kh), or (www.cdcmoh.gov.kh).
