Child Passport
Travelling with a child who needs a passport? Children who are UK citizens must possess their own passport regardless of their age. To Obtain a Child Passport with VisasDirect You Will Need:
- Current child passport. If the child has a current passport to be renewed it must be submitted.
- Two passport photographs. Passport applications must include two identical colour photographs of each applicant taken within the last month. Passport photographs must be 45 mm high x 35 mm wide and comply with the UK Identity and Passport Service requirements.
- Birth certificate. If this is a new child passport you will need to show evidence of birth and provide the original birth certificate. A copy of the birth certificate will not be accepted.
- Authorisation letter. We require permission from the parent to process the application on behalf of the child. You will need to complete a letter of authorisation.
